About the business The directors of Melvyn
F. Oarton and Co Ltd. lived in Sussex for most of their lives, but now their
children have grown up, they have taken the opportunity to carry out an
ambition to move to the much-loved county of Devon. We are a family owned practice, operating from home and
offering very reasonable fees. By using the latest technology, we are able to match or exceed
the service of our competitors and when you deal with us, you will always
have direct access to one of the directors. We do however ask that you try to conduct your business in
office hours, although we realise that in extreme circumstances, this may not
be possible. For many years, almost all of our new clients have come
from recommendations from other clients, although as very few of our existing
clients have connections with Devon, we are now advertising to make ourselves
