Limited Companies We are able to help clients obtain a new Limited
Companies or to purchase ‘off the shelf’ companies which have been in
existence for a while, but have not been trading. In the former case, the company is formed with a
name of your choice and in the latter, the company will already have a name
which can then be changed to one of your choosing, subject to availability. We can check the availability of suitable names
for your business, live online, using the Registrar of Companies' WebCheck
service. Additionally, we are able to search for and
purchase on your behalf, a suitable Internet Domain name for your new company.
To retain the rights to the name costs approximately £15.00 per annum. Web hosting can
also be arranged, although we do not design or maintain web sites (apart from
our own) A limited company gives peace of mind to the
directors by giving them limited liability, although increasingly banks and
other lending institutions may require a personal guarantee from the
directors, which may negate this advantage. The company formation agents we use, are the
largest in the U.K. and they offer a good all-round professional service.
They also offer a range of other associated services and publications. A
basic company formation cost from £160.00 at the present time, plus the cost
of our time for dealing with the necessary paperwork. |
