Denise
joined the practice, almost at its commencement in 1988, having previously
worked in banking for 5 years and for a short time for the Inland Revenue
(now HM Revenue & Customs). In 1991 she passed her examinations for the
Association of Accounting Technicians and in 1999, received a license to
engage in Public Practice in Accountancy, Taxation and Consultancy. Denise's
specialist fields are accounts, including advising on the latest computer
packages, Value Added Tax and General Business Consultancy, and she can also
help with all of your accountancy and taxation needs. Melvyn
F. Oarton MBCS Melvyn
formed the practice in March 1988 and was soon joined by Denise. Before
engaging in public practice he worked for the Inland
Revenue (now H.M. Revenue & Customs), dealing with Income Tax, Capital
Gains Tax and Corporation Tax. Latterly he was working as Manager and as a
Tax Investigator. Initially
and in tandem with his own practice, he acted as a tax consultant for three firms of
Chartered Accountants and still gives tax advice to other professionals. Melvyn
is a member of the Chartered Institute for IT and we use the latest software for the
production and submission of Self Assessment and
Corporation Tax returns to H.M. Revenue and Customs and for Payroll
Administration. He has also been quoted on tax matters on Radio 4 and in the
Times newspaper. |
